Catch-up TV & replay
If your provider keeps an archive for a channel, you can rewind live TV and replay past programmes - no recording involved.
What you need
Replay only works on channels where your provider actually keeps an archive. For Xtream accounts that means the provider’s catch-up / archive feature; for M3U playlists it means the playlist file carries catchup attributes for that channel. The app detects this automatically per channel - there is nothing to turn on.
Channels without archive support simply don’t show replay options. If you land on one through a shared link, you’ll see “This channel doesn’t offer replay” instead.
Up to 7 days of past programmes are available. The real limit is how much archive your provider keeps - if a channel only keeps a few hours, that’s all the app can offer.
Watching a replay

While a replay is playing, a Replay badge shows on the channel and a Back to live row takes you straight back to the live broadcast.
Pause and rewind live TV
On an archive-capable channel, pressing rewind while watching live jumps you behind the broadcast. Nothing is being recorded locally - the app just fetches that moment from your provider’s archive on the fly.
A small chip on the player shows the wall-clock time you’re watching and how far behind live you are. While you tap rewind or forward repeatedly, it previews where you’re about to land before the jump happens.
Seeking
Replays scrub like a normal video: the seek bar spans the whole programme, and dragging jumps straight to that moment.
For a programme that’s still airing, the part that hasn’t aired yet shows as a ghost region with a live-edge marker - you can’t seek past what’s actually been broadcast. Once a replay finishes, it rolls into the next programme automatically, all the way up until you catch up with live.
On keyboard or remote, J and L (or the media rewind / fast-forward keys) skip backward and forward. Pressing them quickly several times in a row adds up into a single larger jump instead of several small ones.
Troubleshooting
No replay options at all on a channel: your provider doesn’t advertise an archive for it. There’s nothing the app can do here - it’s a provider-side limit.
Replays start at the wrong time: this is almost always an EPG offset problem, not a replay problem. Open Settings > Watching > EPG time zone and adjust Offset for active playlist - see Playlists (Xtream + M3U) for the same fix applied to the programme guide.
